• Doctor Availability: While we endeavor to adhere strictly to scheduled appointment slots, consultation timings are subject to doctor availability, emergency surgeries, and unforeseen critical care requirements.
• Reporting Time: Patients are requested to report to the hospital reception counter at least 15 minutes prior to their assigned token time for vital checks and registration verification.
• Cancellations & Rescheduling: In the event of emergency clinical commitments where a specialist is called to the operation theatre or ICU, our reception team will notify you promptly and provide the earliest available alternative slot.

4 24/7 Emergency Care Protocol

Our 24-hour Emergency Department operates round the clock with dedicated trauma care, resuscitation bays, critical care physicians, and ambulance support.

Emergency admissions are prioritized strictly on medical urgency based on clinical triage protocols rather than arrival order.

5 Inpatient, ICU & Surgical Admissions

Patients admitted to our General Wards, Semi-Private Rooms, Deluxe Rooms, or Intensive Care Units (ICU) agree to follow our clinical care protocols:

• Informed Consent: Prior to any surgical procedure, anesthesia, invasive diagnostic investigation, or blood transfusion, a comprehensive written informed consent will be obtained from the patient or legal guardian after explaining the benefits and potential risks.
• Visitor Regulations: To prevent hospital-acquired infections and ensure patient recovery, visitor hours are strictly regulated. Only one attendant pass is permitted per patient in general wards, and ICU entry is strictly restricted to designated doctor briefing hours.
• Personal Belongings: Patients and attendants are advised not to keep large cash amounts, jewelry, or valuable electronics in hospital rooms. The hospital does not assume liability for lost personal items.

6 Billing, Payments & Health Insurance

Sri Chakra Hospital is committed to clear, honest, and transparent healthcare billing.

• Treatment Estimates: Estimated costs provided during initial consultation are approximations based on initial clinical evaluation. Final bills may vary depending on actual hospital stay, medicines administered, surgical findings, and diagnostic investigations.
• Cashless Insurance Claims: We partner with leading TPAs and health insurance providers. Cashless pre-authorization is subject to the terms, exclusions, room rent caps, and co-pay clauses of your specific insurance policy. Any non-payable items or amounts rejected by the TPA must be settled directly at the hospital cash counter prior to discharge.
• Payment Modes: We accept UPI, major credit/debit cards, net banking, and cash in accordance with statutory fiscal regulations.

7 Hospital Code of Conduct & Safety

To preserve a healing, hygienic, and safe environment for all patients, healthcare staff, and visitors:

• Zero Tolerance for Violence: Any verbal abuse, harassment, or physical violence toward our doctors, nursing officers, or hospital staff is strictly punishable under the Tamil Nadu Medicare Service Persons and Medicare Service Institutions (Prevention of Violence and Damage or Loss to Property) Act.
• Tobacco & Alcohol Prohibited: Smoking, chewing tobacco, consumption of alcohol, or possession of illicit substances within hospital premises is strictly prohibited by law.
• Silence & Cleanliness: Mobile phones must be kept on silent mode in clinical zones and ICU corridors. Maintaining hospital cleanliness and proper waste disposal in designated bins is mandatory.

8 Intellectual Property Rights

All website visual design, hospital logos, brand identity, doctor profiles, medical articles, photography, icons, and software scripts are the exclusive intellectual property of Sri Chakra Multi Speciality Hospital and its development partners. Unauthorized duplication, reproduction, web scraping, or commercial exploitation without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

9 Governing Law & Legal Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by, interpreted, and enforced in accordance with the substantive laws of India. Any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings arising out of healthcare services or website usage shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
